Biden Pledges $200 Million to Ukraine For Military Aid

( – President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday, December 11th, that he will give $200 million extra dollars to Ukraine for military aid. This aid will be used for military supplies for Ukraine in their efforts against Russia.

Biden revealed this plan while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the White House to discuss ways to help the Ukrainians in the war with Russia.

“I just signed another $200 million drawdown for the Department of Defense for Ukraine, and that’ll be coming,” Biden said on camera.

This money that Biden pledged in weapons, ammunition and equipment will be transported from the Pentagon reserves. This consists of artillery rocket systems, missiles, anti-armor, generators, and other spare parts.

The U.S. has about $4.4 billion in weapons and ammunition that it can give to Ukraine before they run out.

President Joe Biden recently requested to Congress that the aid to Ukraine be extended to an additional $110 billion. Congress will likely thrown it down, as most Republicans are focused on the U.S.-Mexico Border crisis.

Zelenskyy also met privately with Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, and Mike Johnson. There is no talk on whether this deadlocked situation has been settled.
